Richard Eugene Snow Sr, age 84, entered into the Fullness of God's Glory on March 30, 2017. He was born January 28, 1933 in Rochelle, Illinois to the late Ray Snow and Bernice Steward Decker.
In 1953 he married Evlyn Jewel "Julie" Pentek, his wife of 63 years. They made Portsmouth, Virginia their home for four years while Dick served in the US Navy. In 1956, Dick and Julie returned to their hometown of Aurora, Illinois, where he began working for the IBM Corporation. After a sucessful16 year career, he retired and moved his family to Mountain View, Arkansas.
Richard's life was a wonderful reflection of the love he had for God. He stood steadfast in his faith as an example for his family and friends. Richard was a founding member of Church of the Living God and served as a valued Director of the Board for many years. He continued as a current board member, during the church's recent renaming to Arise Church.
Celebrated by his wife Julie Snow; sister Kim and Gary Cooper; Daughters: Kari and Tim Winningham, Lori and Jeff Dobbins, Jami and Kevin Webb, and son Richard E Snow Jr.; Grand-children: Matt Dobbins, JW and Allison Dobbins, Jake and Lee Sun Dobbins, Justin Webb, Rheanna Henderson, Jessica and Joseph Zuber, Tyler and Jade Webb, Megan Snow and Lakin Snow; Great-grand-children: Kaedn Henderson, Haley Dobbins, Rachel Dobbins, Hannah Dobbins, Reece Dobbins, Kaitlyn Ausborn, Ellie Zuber, Caroline Dobbins, John Isaac Dobbins, Dylan Zuber and Jaxon Carvalho.
A visitation will take place on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas from 1:30 3:00 PM. The funeral services will follow the visitation beginning at 3:00PM with Brother Tommy Lee and Brother Bob Ellis officiating. Interment will be Flatwoods Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas following the service.
Pallbearers are Matt Dobbins, JW Dobbins, Jake Dobbins, Justin Webb, Tyler Webb, and Kaedn Henderson.

Dick, always such a class and caring person in the Church, in the many area support groups he represented, and in the Stone County community as a whole... he is missed, yet his presence lives on through his family.

I know that the days, months, and even years will be difficult at times but take comfort in the fact that you will be together again one day. Right now he is rejoicing with the Angels in Heaven and feeling better than ever. He is loved by all, missed by many, and received by our Heavenly Father.
