Joyce Adams Hays, 83, of Little Rock, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2017. She was born on March 17, 1933 in Strong, AR to the late Ambrose J. and Vera Lewis Adams. Joyce was a longtime member of Henderson United Methodist Church, as well as the United Methodist Women. She retied after working 40 years as a Medical Transcriptionist. She was an avid reader who loved her family, especially spending time with her grandchilden, Dan and Claudette, David, and Andrew. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Hays and sisters, Janette Meadows and June Strickland.

Joyce is survived by her daughter; Lynne Watterson and husband Mark, grandchildren; Daniel Watterson and wife Claudette, David Watterson, and Andrew Watterson, one brother; Charles Adams and wife Doris.

Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 13 at Henderson United Merhodist Church officiated by Rev. Mike Utley. Burial will follow the service at 3:00 p.m. in LaPile Cemetery in Union County. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 12, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Roller Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock.

So sorry for your loss. Had not seen Joyce in years. Her mother, Aunt Vera, was a sister to my grandmother, Ethel. My prayers are with you!
