Caitlin Kelley Fuchs

of Maumelle, AR

June 26, 1989 - September 2, 2005

Our beautiful and precious girl, Caitlin Kelley Fuchs, innocent and pure of heart, left this earth on September 2, 2005, when the car in which she was a passenger crashed. She never said an unkind word about anyone and delighted in making people laugh. As one of her classmates said, "If Caitlin wasn't your friend, you just hadn't met her yet."

Caitlin was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, on June 26, 1989. She lived her first years in Conway attending Jim Stone Elementary and Carl Stuart Middle School where she played on the traveling volleyball team and received several awards including outstanding vocalist. In 2002, she became a student at Academics Plus in Maumelle. While there, she was a member of the soccer and basketball teams, a member of the National Jr. Beta Club, was elected Homecoming Princess, and landed the lead in a school play. She would have graduated with an Associates of Arts degree at the age of seventeen as a member of the first graduating class in 2007.

We love and miss you, Caitlin. Always in our memories, thoughts, and dreams, and forever in our hearts, we could not have asked for a better sister, daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend.

She is survived by her mother, Kristina Kelley of Maumelle; two sisters, Courtney Fuchs and Casi Riggs and husband David; two nephews, Benjamin Fuchs and Ethan Riggs; maternal grandmother, Sue Kelley; aunt, Kim Kelley, all of Conway; three uncles, Marty Kelley of Fayetteville, Jeff Kelley and wife Tracie of Conway, and Kyle Kelley of Conway; cousins, Ryan, Jena, Carter, Alec, Alex, Jacob, Keaton, Kelsey, Amelia, A'livia, and Jared Kelley, and Janssen and Madi Wiedower; her father, Kenneth Fuchs; paternal grandmother, Margaret Klein of Long Island, New York; aunt, Joan Chiampa and husband Paul of Pembroke, Massachusetts; cousins, Meghan, Yvonne, & Paulie Chiampa; her many great-aunts, uncles, cousins, and so many good and loving friends, especially Abby Sinclair.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Jerry Kelley and George Fuchs.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 10, at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Conway with entombment following at Crestlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Visitation is Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.

I knew Caitlin ever since kindergarten! I loved her dearly and was deeply devestated by her death. As we all deal with this heavy burden of greif right now, I am praying that the Lord will give me half of the strength, conviction, and love that Caitlin lived with, and blessed us all with each and every day we knew her. I will miss her so much. I love you Cait.

Everyone that ever came into contact with Caitlin was truly blessed. Her beautiful smile shall remain in our hearts for a eternity. Kelsey and I will remember and cherish the years she was in our lives. The times of riding in the car to and from school she brought us such joy and laughter. Give her a chocolate milkshake and the giggles would flow from her. She kept us laughing and made the trips much more enjoyable. I thank God for the opportunity to teach and be a part of Caitlin's life. Kris, my prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. Only God knows the reason and the blessings that shall come from bringing Caitlin home. My God bless you and your family and hold you all close to his heart. It is with great sadness that I express my sympathy to your family at this time. Caitlin Fuchs was as smart and beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. I remember meeting her for the first time, as she was a very sweet and polite young lady. My prayers are with you and your family as God continues to let Caitlin's love for life shine through and touch so many people. May God be with you at your time of sorrow. Celaundra

Words can not express my heart full of emotions for the loss of Caitlin from our family. I wish I could be there with you all in this your time of need and grief, and to help you celebrate the wonderful life that Caitlin shared with everyone. She will be greatly missed and although it helps those of us remaining behind little at present, we can all take some comfort in knowing that God blessed us with such a wonderful gift of life- if only briefly- and will hereafter, guard and protect her spirit in our hearts and minds, and in those lives which she was able to touch. Broghan and I wish we could physically be with you all but please know that you all are very much in our hearts, minds and prayers always! Please let me know if there is anything we can do for you. All our love to everyone. Lissa and Broghan

I was so saddened by Caitlin's death. She will be a part of us forever. I think the grief from losing someone suddenly is the most difficult of all because it evokes such feelings of unreality. No one can know the depth of your grief, and that sometimes feels lonely. But even though you walk a lonely path; you are not alone. In my thoughts with love, Caroline Proctor

Dear Fuchs family, I know I don't have to tell you how amazing Caitlin was; she lived up to her reputation, and surpassed it. I went to school with her in eighth grade, but lost touch with her after that year. I envy the sixteen years you all had with her, so much. Caitlin is one of the most genuine people I have ever met in my life; the kind of girl who draws a smile out of anyone. I can't imagine how many lives she influenced in her time here on earth. With love, Hayley.
