Zachary Andrew Ratliff, age 30, of Benton, passed away Friday, January 23, 2015. He was born in Hot Springs on April 12, 1984 to Gene and Robin (George) Ratliff. He loved coaching one of the eight year old Bryant All Star Baseball teams, his son's basketball team, and was very active in the activities of his children. He loved spending time with his family, especially his wife and children, who were the light of his life.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart , Aleshia (Joyce) Ratliff; two sons, Karter and Koby Ratliff; one daughter, Kynlee Ratliff; four sisters, Autumn, Shelby, and Karly Ratliff and Alexis Perez; one brother, Nicholas Ratliff; one grandmother, Shirley George; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Dawn Joyce; brothers in law and sisters in law Andrew and Mackenzie Martin, and Matthew and Whitney McMullen; one niece and two nephews, along with many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 26, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Benton with Dr. Rick Grant and Damon McKenzie officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas. Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon Griffin, T.J. Blackburn, Nicholas Ratliff, Gene Ratliff, Andrew Martin, Matthew McMullen, James Joyce and Doug Gwatney.
Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton (501-315-4047).
The family has established The Zachary Ratliff Contribution Fund at Arvest Bank for those wishing to contribute in lieu of or addition to flowers.
