Jack D. Hamsher, 83, of North Little Rock passed away Sunday, November 17, 2013. He was born to Oscar and Arlene Hamsher in Emmaus, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Howard and Darcey Hamsher; sister, Hope Jerret; and his son, Rob Hamsher.
He served in the Korean Conflict and two tours in the Vietnam. Jack retired from the U. S. Air Force as a Flight Engineer with twenty two year of service.
He is survived by wife Patty. Gilmore Hamsher; son, Larry Hamsher (Mary); two daughters, Leslie Morris and Kim Hamsher; step-daughters, Pauls Bexton (Randy) and Pam McCallister (Andy);two sisters, Jeanine Stahl and Joyce Bortz; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren;and a host of other family and friends.
Graveside service will be 12 noon, Monday, November 25, 2013 at Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd. North Little Rock, AR 72116 (501-791-7400).
