Betty Dacus Peeler, 59, of Bono died Monday, December 26 at her residence. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, sewing and quilting. She had worked at Frolic Footwear, Penn Athletics and local print shops. She was a member of Herman Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Marion Peeler of the home; two sons Matt (Amanda) Kirby of Bono, and Leon (Brandy) Peeler of Walnut Ridge; a daughter, Mary (Stan) Crawford of Paragould; six grandchildren, Kirk Pfeifer, Molly Pfeifer, Felisha Peeler, MaKayla Peeler, Jordan Peeler and Cali Kirby; her mother, Grace Dacus; two brothers, Gene (Linda) Dacus of Jonesboro and Richard (Donna) Dacus of Bono.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dairl Dacus.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm Friday at Roller-Farmers Union Chapel with Harold Russell and Boyce Bonham officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery.
Pallbearers will include Wayne Winn, Clinton McGowan, James McGowan, Shane McGowan, Danny Sheffield, Brian Sheffield, David Benefield and Stacy Crowe.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
The family requests that lasting memorials be made to Pine Log Cemetery.

I am so saddened to learn of Betty's passing. I remember her so well as a child and enjoyed being her friend on Facebook these last few months. I know this is a great loss to her mother, husband, children, grandchildren and the rest of her family and friends. I pray God will ease your pain and replace it with beautiful memories.
