Martha Evelyn (Campbell) Luther, 88, of Mountain View entered into rest on August 21, 2011 in Little Rock.

Evelyn was born June 24, 1923 in St. James, Arkansas to Tommy Lee and Mary Edna (Lindsey) Campbell. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mountain View. She was a loving wife, mother and sister.

She is survived by her husband Edwin Luther of the home; daughter Sandra Lancaster and husband Danny of Little Rock; sister Vyrable Snyder of Wadsworth, Ohio; brother-in-law Dr. Joe Luther of Hot Springs; sister-in-law Fay Luther and Freddie Luther both of Mountain View and a granddog Skippy and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Tommy and Mary Campbell; sister Eloise Ford; brothers Lindsey and Hansel Campbell; brothers-in-law Bob and Letus Luther; sister-in-law Ave Nell Luther; and her husband's parents Thurlow and Seddie Luther.

Visitation is 6 8 p.m., Monday, August 22, 2011 at Roller Crouch Chapel, Mountain View.

Funeral service is 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at First United Methodist Church, Mountain View with Pastor Ron Newberry and Bro. Denzel Stokes officiating and interment in Historical Cemetery of Mountain View.

Pallbearers are Rodney Luther, Danny Tinkle, Rusty Fraser, Charles Session, Dr. Kenny Wyatt and Thad Luther. Honorary pallbearers are Joe Wyatt, Greg Luther, Mike Cartwright and Richard Stoltz.

The family wants to extend special thanks to the Fifth Floor Staff of the Baptist Hospital in Little Rock; Dr. Donald Meacham and to the staff at the Stone County Residential Care Facility.

Sandra, Danny, Edwin and family,
I'm so very sorry to hear of Evelyn's passing. She was such a sweet person, and I know you all will miss her. I guess God just needed another special angel. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. May God bless you is my prayer.
