Aunt Lea, JoNell & Lisa,

We were very sorry to hear about Uncle Lacy. We pray the Lord will comfort you in this time of grief.

I have fond memories of his good-natured teasing, especially once I was in high school. And the big fish fries and home-made ice cream in the backyard in the summertime. He was a neat guy to have as an uncle.

I'm so sorry to learn of Lacy Lander's death. Lacy was a special person who looked out for his fellow Arkansans. I didn't know him personally, but heard his name mentioned many times by my parents, Dalton and Joyce Hargrove. They always appreciated him so much. He will be remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. God be with you in your sorrow.

The legacy of Lacy Landers will live on in this commjnity for an eternity. The Landers family have given of themselves in so many ways. To Lea and the family I have you lifted up in my prayers. Thank you for sharing him with all of us.

As a the first and only City Manager for the City of Benton, Charles Nickerson soon learned back in 1976, his strength and support would come fron Lacy Landers with a listening ear, and honest discussions, as well as truth in all that he had to say. He was always available to help the young new manager make his way in a turbulant time in the Ctiy of Benton. Charles sends his regrets as well from Texarkana.

Dearest Landers Family,
My thoughts and prayers go out to you guys. Your Dad was a very kind and a generous man. He was so good to my Mother-in-law when she worked at Alcoa as one of the nurses there when she was terminally ill and for that, I will be never forget. I know he had been ill as well and now he is in our Lord's arms and not suffering any longer. Prayers will continue for this wonderful family.
