Peggy McDermott, 63, of Horseshoe Lake, AR, passed away Friday January 28, 2011 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN. Peggy was of the Baptist faith and was a hardworking, loving mother who took great care of her family. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Timothy Randall McDermott. She is survived by her daughter, Christy Ezell and husband, Doug of Bartlett, TN; two sons, Kenneth McDermott and wife, Stacey of Horseshoe Lake, AR and Vince Aaron McDermott and wife, Deanna of Newark, AR; three sisters, Frances Baugh of Mississippi, Mary Russell of Mississippi and Patricia Williams of Tennessee; her brother, Jamie Russell of Mississippi; six grandchildren, Kimberly Stokes and husband, John, Casey Pouncey and husband, Trevor, Allen McDermott, Lexie Ezell, Gabbie Ezell and Jamie Ezell and two great-grandchildren, Paxton Arnold and Drake Pouncey. There will be a memorial service at Horseshoe Lake Baptist Church on Tuesday February 1, 2011 at 11:00 A.M.

My family and I are so sorry to hear about Peggy !! We haven't been in touch for many years, but have very fond memories of her when she lived in the Poughkeepsie, Arkansas area. She and her husband were two of the first people we met when we moved here and were so helpful to us. We will miss her !!
