I was a student in Osceola when Lynn had his first coaching assignment there. He drove a lime green Fiat X-19 that was one of a kind in Northeast Arkansas. What a great guy, motivator and coach. I remember him well and although I haven't seen him in more than 35 years, he made a positive impression on me. My sincere condolences to the family.
To the Oswalt Family,
I was fortunate enough to meet and work with Coach O at West Jr. High. He was a funny man and he made me feel welcome as a new teacher there. The Bible says that blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted. I pray that you all would cling to, trust, and rely on God to give the comfort he thusly promised. Be encouraged and consoled in His love.

I am so sorry sorry to hear about Lynn. Thank you for the video. It brought back such great memories of growing up with Lynn in FC. Playing baseball together every summer of our lives from Little League to American Legion (a great pitcher and a great shortstop!), riding our bikes all over Forrest City, playing football and basketball together. Flying to Houston as young teenagers to see my grand parents and watch Donnie play the Astros.... Double dating in that yellow Camaro he loved so much... Always smiling... My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
