Blanche was truly an inspiration to every one who
came in contact with her. As a young child, I made sure that my parents took me to Blanche and Edwin's to
Trick or Treat. She always made everything so fun.
Blanche would have the record player playing those scary
sounds and she really got into the decorations. I was
always so scared, but I loved going to their house.
Sincerely,
Shelly Kinard Hurst and family

Dear Tisha, Eddie Chrisand families, We both have been blessed to have been apart of Blanches life. We will hold the memories of her near and dear in our hearts. She has been a wonderful friend to us all. She has been an good teacher about life and it,s ups and downs that it brings. I hope we can handle things as half as good as she did. Blanche was the dearest friend and more. I won't stop asking her for advice, because she will always be close by. You are in our prayers

To Tisha and Eddie Chris and family

I am so sorry for your loss. She is a GREAT woman, not was a great woman. I married into the Ivy family and Blanche and Edwin and you kids have always seemed like family. I didn't know for a long time that we all 'weren't blood kin". I have never known finer people and I couldn't have done it without Blanche at Ericka's wedding in 2004. She just got right in there and did what had to be done. I will always remember her for her laughter, generosity, love and caring spirit. I don't know what the Ivys' would have done without your family when John passed away. I have seen and heard many, many stories over the last 38 years and everything said or done about your mom and dad was ALWAYS good and true because I witnessed a lot of it. Your family was so blessed to have such a mother and father.

Just know that 'THEY' are all together now and what a reunion!!! PRAISE GOD. She is probably bossing everyone around right now. But you know what?, I bet they don't mind at all........Love you all very much and just keep the FAITH.

Blanche was a great lady, she always had a smile on her face, I am so sorry for your loss, your family is like family to us, I will always remember the choc cake that she made Dad for his birthday and the holidays, when I was little I asked her to make one and leave the icing off, the next time she brought a cake she made 2 of them one with and one without icing, It was great, She gave me her recipe and I have made it several times and it is good I still think Blanche had that special touch,You are in my thoughts and prayers love you
