I did know Johnny, I am pretty sure he is my great uncle on my Grandmother's side (Florence Alene Mitchell).
May he rest in peace.
Ruth, I haven't seen you in a number of years but you've always had my heart. You and Johnny were very much a part of my life in my younger years and, for that, I will always be grateful. I am so sorry for your loss, and I pray for your good health.

We are so sorry for your loss. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
My deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Johnny. It's been a long time, but Johnny and I were classmates at Barton. I started first grade there, moved away, and came back for the 6th thru 8th grades. In fact, I still have my 8th grade class photo. I remember Johnny as a soft-spoken gentleman. I had heard he was ill and had hoped to visit with him on my next trip to Helena-West Helena.
Elsie, Ruth, & Bobbie - so very sorry for our loss - Johnny was a caring and special person. He will truly be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Hello Ruth, You may barely remember me but, I definitely remember the both of you, and I am so sorry to hear what happened. He was one of the good people. I send heart felt sympathy to you and the rest of your family. I wish I could have been there today but, I am in Texas and didn't even know till last night when Teeny told me about it. Again, I am so sorry. Your cousin, Jimm
