Faye Smith Deeds, 85, of Magazine, AR died December 21. 2008. She was born in Sugar Grove March 25, 1923 to Horace and Willie Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of fifty-nine years, Howard Deeds; a son, Don Deeds; two brothers, Charley and Eugene Smith; two sisters, Nova Wilkins and Nellie Harvey; an infant great-grandson; and a son-in-law, Steve Robinson. Faye was of the Pentecostal Faith and a homemaker.
Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at Graves Cemetery in Delaware under the direction of Booneville Funeral Service.
She is survived by one daughter, Nelda Robinson of Magazine; one son, Rick Deeds and wife Lesia; three sisters, Etta Mae Scott, Dorothy Scantling and Lois Godfrey all of Booneville; three grandchildren, Benjamin Robinson of Little Rock, Deborah Shipley of Fort Smith, and Savanna Hill of Pottsville; six great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Florence Smith of Sugar Grove; numerous other family and friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Shipley, Gary Godfrey, Don Keyes, Danny Robertson, Frankie Deeds, Benjamin Robinson, Brad Hill, Stanley Godfrey.
