Hot Rogers, age 71, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas died Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at Fulton County Medical Hospital in Salem, Arkansas. Mr. Rogers was born January 11, 1937 in Holly Grove, Arkansas. He was a veteran of the Marine Corp and he was retired from Masco Helicopter Service Corporation.

He was the son of the late Delmar and Mary Rogers. He was also preceded in death by his son, Terry Rogers.

Mr. Rogers is survived by one daughter, Christine Bollinger of Lafayette, Louisiana; three stepsons, Eric Snelling and Brian Snelling, both of Lafayette, Louisiana, and Chris Blackburn of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Bertha Stoner of Holly Grove and Frances Peterson of Wyoming; and five grandchildren.

Graveside services for Hot Rogers will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, October 13, 2008 at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena.
