William Catlett, Jr., 59, of Marvell passed away Saturday, February 9, 2008 in Helena. Mr. Catlett was born May 2, 1948 in Phillips County, Arkansas to the late James William Catlett and the late Hazel Owens Catlett.
He is survived by his son, Larry Catlett of Grundy Center, Iowa; daughters, Courtney Chism and husband, Bryan, of Cabot, Shelby Catlett of Conway; brother, Keith Catlett; sisters, Inez Burge of Conroe, Texas and Gail Thomas of Marvell; grandchildren, Harlan and Evan Chism of Cabot.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Bernice Wallace.
Services for William Catlett will be held Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Cypert Church of Christ in Cypert, Arkansas. Burial will be at Cypert Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Roller-Citizens. Brother Mark Spencer will officiate.
Pallbearers are Keith Gladish, Glenn Gladish, Harrison Gladish, Scotty Scaife, Alan Cupp and Jody Speakman. Honorary pallbearers are Bryan Chism and Larry Webster.
Memorials may be made to the Cypert Church of Christ, 2222 Highway 318, Marvell, Arkansas 72366, or to the charity of your choice.

I just stumbled on this when I was researching for information for my 70th birthday. I am so sorry to hear about Junior. Also I hadn't realized Aunt Hazel had passed away Our prayers are with you all, "Andy" Owens

Jr. was always so much fun in high school---always laughing and getting in trouble! What a fun person! I was privileged to share that part of his life. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I know you will miss him!

Gail, I was so sad to hear of Jr.'s passing. I saw him this summer when we went to the Smalley Cemetary and he and I talked for awhile. My prayers are with the whole family. Carla
