Well, another Pioneer has passed. Mr. Thurman Skinner is now flying high. What a loss, and what a shock. I called Mama this morning and she said to be sure to tell the Skinner family that the Wainwright's are saddened, but are proud to be friends with them all. She said for them to call if they want or need anything. Take care folks, good luck. And remember a "Pioneer never quits," never!! Sincerely, Curtis Wainwright
A man more a jewel than a jeweler; beautiful in every respect. To a family I love as I love my own: may you find peace and strength in this difficult time.
May God give you all comfort during this time of trial. Thurman was always so nice to me, I will remember our visits. God Bless, Mike

So sorry to hear about Thurman. He will be missed by all of Batesville.
We are so sorry about your dad. As much as he loved to hunt, I think this was how he would have chosen to go.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Gene and Bettye Talburt
Batesville has lost a good citizen. He shall be missed. I fell today and will not be able to attend his funeral.
Sue, J.T. and family, Thurman was always so nice to me. Saturday morning we saw each other at Hardy's just before heading out for the first day of Turkey Season. We always joked together and laughed. He liked to tease me about hunting. He will be deeply missed in this community and in the Outdoor Brotherhood. Ed Haas Outdoors
I was saddened to learn of Thurman's passing. Growing up in Batesville, I knew both Thurman, Herbert and many of the families members. I often was in the store when I lived in Batesville. He will be missed (as are his brothers and sister) by all that knew him. May God bless and comfort Sue, the girls and my old friend, JT, during this time of sorrow.
