Gracie Pauline Shipp, 84, of Batesville passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2020.

She was born on August 4, 1935 in Arizona to Charlie Evridge and Zelda (Lamb) Evridge.

Pauline was a member of First Freewill Baptist where she taught Sunday School; she also worked for several years as a Phlebotomist at White River Medical Center. Her dog, Amy, was her baby and she loved her dearly. She was a Master Gardener and loved flower gardening, she enjoyed shopping and eating out.

Survivors include her two daughters, Angelia Hightower (Wally) of Batesville and Melissa Shipp of Jonesboro; one grandchild, Aileen Hightower; two great-grandchildren, Will Lamme and Zack Lamme; one brother, Floyd Evridge (Jean) of Judsonia; and one sister, Amanda Fulbright (Darrell) of Batesville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Shipp Jr.; three brothers, Bill Evridge, Clifford Evridge and Albert Evridge; and sister, Dean Evridge.

Pallbearers are Dalton Fulbright, Tim Evridge, Travis Evridge and Eric Fulbright.

There will be a private family service held with Bobby Sheppard officiating.
