Fern Keller Franks, 77, of Batesville passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020.

She was born on April 12, 1942 in Bethesda, Arkansas to Junious V. Keller and Dorothy (Foster) Keller.

Fern was a member of Southside Church of Christ and previously a member of Chinquapin Church of Christ. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. In her younger days she used to love to sit on the bank and fish; she enjoyed sewing and many crafts, reading books and planting flowers and gardening.

Survivors include her son, Thurston McKown (Kathy); two daughters, Corrine Tate (Chester) and Crystal Miller (Casey); eight grandchildren, Patty Diaz, Jennifer McKown, John McKown, Tammy Tate, Amanda Holder, Samantha Davis, Caden Miller and Caley Miller; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and her brother, Ferris Keller (Linda).

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Franks; son, Darryl Franks; and granddaughter, Sara Haley.

Pallbearers are Taylor Holder, Keller Holder, Mike Diaz, Alex Diaz, Jerry Hughes, Chuck Koehler, Hunter England and Rylan Wilmoth. Honorary pallbearers will be Casey Miller, Caden Miller, Delton Rolins and Layne Holder.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home with Brian Keller and Bill Kline officiating. Burial will follow at Darryl Franks Memorial Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at the funeral home.
