Gerald ''Mack'' Tucker, 71, of Batesville passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 in Memphis, Tennessee.
He was born on Wednesday, February 4, 1948 in Batesville to David Isam and Virgie Lee (Gill) Tucker.
Mack was the owner and operator of Tucker Drilling Company, he was also a member of the Ruddell Hill Baptist Church and a board member of the Ruddell Hill Fire Department where he was a retired assistant chief. Mack was passionate about his church and his work. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed being around the deer camp. He also loved his grandchildren dearly.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Gail (Smith) Tucker; one son, Travis Tucker of Cabot; one daughter, Chasity Hastings (Shawn) of Batesville; one brother, Gary Tucker (Roetta) of Cushman; two sisters, Ima Johnson (Dwain) of Batesville, Maudie Dickey of Batesville; five grandchildren, Hailey Ford (Austin), Courtney Hastings, Layne Tucker, Grey Isom Tucker, and Jeremy Hastings; and honorary daughter, Emily Tucker.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, David Tucker; and one sister, Wilma Matlock.
Pallbearers are Greg Johnson, Trinity Smith, Dwayne Dickey, Jerry Brashers, Bryan Dickey, Andy Denham. Honorary pallbearers will be Dwain Johnson, Calvin Smith, Mike Smith, Andy Hubbs, Dr. Hanan Makhoul and Staff, his Ruddell Hill Baptist Church family.
Funeral services will begin at 10am Saturday, August 17, 2019 at the Ruddell Hill Baptist Church with Chuck Miller Sr. and Alan Brown officiating.
Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00pm Friday, August 16, 2019 at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Batesville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ruddell Hill Baptist Church Building Fund 805 Bethesda Rd. Batesville, Arkansas 72501 or the Barnes Cemetery Fund 1250 Bethesda Rd. Batesville, Arkansas 72501.

Mack is a good friend and I will miss him at deer camp. My prayers to his family and friends in this difficult time.
