Francis Marion Kerlin Gardner, 85, of Locust Grove died Friday, May 3, 2019.

She was born Monday, December 18, 1933 in North Little Rock to Howard E. and Mary Alice (Bell) Kerlin.

Marion loved her family very much. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the Bendemeer Grotto. She loved her yard, was an avid reader, loved to travel. She was a graduate of Draughon Business College, and worked as an office manager at St. Vincent through retirement years, also worked in the manager's office at the Little Rock Airport for five years.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bill Gardner, whom she married on October 2, 2003; two nephews, Donnie Kerlin of Locust Grove, John R. Kerlin of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one niece, Sherrie Kerlin of Flippin; and six step-children.

Marion is preceded in death by her parents; previous husbands, Jeff Hobbs and R.C. (Skip) Davis Jr., and one brother, Donald Howard Kerlin Sr.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at the Concord Missionary Baptist Church with Richard Sparks officiating. A committal service will be at 3:00 p.m. at Rest Hills Cemetery in North Little Rock, Ar.

Visitations will be from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.

John and family, we are so very sorry for the loss of Marion. We know she was such a joy and a light to those who knew her. We are saddened we didn't have the opportunity to meet her. Please know our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
