Thomas Charles Darnell, 72, of McCrory passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2019.
He was born on April 27, 1946 in Bethesda to Hubert and Juanita (Long) Darnell.
Thomas liked to hunt and fish and enjoyed playing cards with his friends and cooking out on the grill and loved his dogs.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley (Williamson) Darnell; son, Adam Darnell (Emily) of Pleasant Plains; daughter, Stefanie Canard of Batesville; brother, Bob Darnell (Goldie) of Floral; five grandchildren, Heath Darnell, Angel Darnell, Josiah Darnell, Zoe Darnell, and Austin Canard; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kerry Darnell; grandson, Hunter Darnell; and sister, Nokie Smith.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March, 23, 2019 at Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church with Donald McGee officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Independence County Humane Society, 5 Environmental Drive, Batesville, AR 72501.
