I was very shocked and grieved to read Sis. Landaw’s message of the passing of Bro. Larry Decker. The Runkle family has loved the Deckers since they came to Oshkosh, WI (where I was attending college) in the late 60’s. We have precious memories of this wonderful family, and our hearts and prayers reach out to Bro. Larry Decker’s wife and all the extended family. May our Lord Jesus minister to each family member and friend of Bro. Decker.

We may never understand why things happen the way they do, but this one thing we know—God does all things with excellence. I learned to love Sis. Elizabeth, Clinten, & Samantha in a short time, and I know that God’s not finished with you yet. You have many people right here in Arkansas to reach/touch with your ministry, examples & testimonies. My prayers are with the Decker family not only for peace & comfort but for healing & direction. Much love to you.

My heart is breaking for the loss of this wonderful man of God. I know he loved his family and was so proud to be doing missionary work in Costa Rico. He will truly be missed. I didn't get to see him much over the years but him and his family hold a loving place in my heart. I'm sure at some point him and my husband, Charles, will meet together in heaven to talk about fishing while they walk the streets of Gold. Love you Larry.
