Margie Arnold Brown of Weiner died Thursday, November 22, 2018 in Harrisburg. She was born July 26, 1921. She was the daughter of Shelby and Maggie Arnold of Evening Shade and was a member of the Weiner Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by a sister, her parents, and her husband of sixty-four years, Hayden Brown.
Survivors include sons, Alvis (Kaye) Brown of Weiner, Rodger Brown of Weiner, and one daughter, Janie L. Smith (Millard) of Little Rock. She has two brothers, Noel Arnold and his wife, Pansy of Evening Shade, and Fred Arnold and his wife, Betty of Greenville, Texas. She has two grand-daughters, Shelley Brown of Weiner, Arkansas and Kristi Brown of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Margie was a homemaker and a wonderful cook. She enjoyed life on the farm where she could be with family, grow beautiful flowers, and experience the joy of quilting.
Funeral will be held Monday, November 26, at 2:00 at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Batesville, Arkansas. Visitation will be held at 1:00 until the time of the service. Burial will be in Egner Cemetery. There will be no graveside service.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home at 510 East College Avenue, Batesville, Arkansas.
