Richard "Ricky" Riley, 63, of Batesville, passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2018, surrounded by his loving family and friends.
He was born on July 15, 1955 in Batesville, Arkansas, to Joe Riley and Carol Riley.
Ricky loved the outdoors, where he liked to hunt, fish, and garden and also loved to can home cooked foods with family. He was an old fashion guy who loved his family very much, but his heart also belongs to his two fur babies, Oaklie and Annie Riley.
He is survived by his mother Carol Allison Shoemaker Riley, of Batesville, Arkansas; wife of 42 years who was always his girl Brenda Riley of Batesville, Arkansas; two daughters Meeta Foster (Chase) of Batesville, Arkansas; and Seva Taylor (Dustin) of Batesville, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Maddan Riley Foster of Batesville, Arkansas and Lawsyn Taylor of Batesville, Arkansas; two brothers, Steve Riley of Zion, Arkansas and Larry Riley of Batesville, Arkansas; and sister, Teresa Branscum of Batesville, Arkansas.
He is preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Riley, Grandparents, Allison "Dick" Shoemaker; Wilma Julian Shoemaker; AD Riley; Emma Riley; one fur baby Annie.
There will be a memorial service Saturday October 13, 2018 at 2:00pm at the First Baptist Church of Desha Arkansas.
Visitations will be on Saturday October 13, 2018 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at the church.
