Steve and I grew up right down the road from each other. One of my fondest memories of him is when we were around 13 or 14, Steve’s house was in between my parents and my grandparents house, so when I would take the lawn mower back and forth I would always stop in at Steve’s. See I’ve always been a little boy crazy and a flirt, Steve always had friends hanging out that would ride their 4-wheelers over. So here I am little nerdy Kim with permed hair and glasses rollin up on a lawnmower to hang out. Steve always made me feel welcome and like one of the guys. He was always making biscuits, like the pop can biscuits, so that was our little inside joke from then on. He would ask me if I wanted a biscuit or I would ask if he had any biscuits. He always treated me with kindness even after my recent failures. The last time I seen him was at church not long after I had gotten home from treatment, he gave me a big hug and said he was glad to see I was doing better and back to normal, all the while he was suffering he was worried about me. That’s how unselfish he was. He was truly one of the GOOD GUYS. I will continue to pray for your family Steve, you will be missed.

Sarah and Family-
My heart just breaks for you. I've seen Steve's journey through FB and I've seen all of your strength through it. I've been blessed to watch this journey to his Forever home, but am soo sad for those that are left behind. I am praying for you all as you travel through your grief and until you all will see him again, alive and whole and healthy. God is good all the time and He truly has used this experience to grow you closer to Him. Stay close to Him and he will provide comfort along your journey of grief and just know that I'm praying for you all.
In Him,
Heather Adams- Vincent
