Was so sorry hear about Charlie. Praying for you Mary and family.
My family went to church with the Higgins family. Charlie was a good man and a good friend of my dad. He will be missed greatly. Mary, Cliff and Kevin you are in my prayers and may you find comfort knowing he's singing with the angels.
One of my earliest memories is seeing Mr. Higgins, Monroe Woods, my dad (Joe Turnbow) and several other men sitting in the middle of Indian Mall "conversing" while the wives shopped. Mr. Higgins was truly one of the most kindest, sweetest, honorable men that I had the privilege to know. The world lost another great man. My prayers for the family during this time and the days to come. I carry my dad in my heart every day and find great comfort in knowing that he is always with me and Charlie will be for you'll.
Charlie was a Great Man! Definitely know where he is! He will be missed, Always had a Great Smile!
So sorry for your loss. Will be praying for the family
RIP Charlie we had a lot of good times talking, farming and playing softball together. You were a great guy and a great neighbor. You always had a smile and something good to say. You were probably more of a good influence around people than you ever realized. People like you with class and dignity are hard to find in this world. Thank God I was blessed enough to know you and be around you at a young age. I also admired you when we joined land farming. MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND LOOK OVER YOU MY FRIEND. THANKS AGAIN FOR THE LIFE YOU LED FOR A GOOD EXAMPLE FOR OTHERS TO GO BY. RIP MY FRIEND. TELL PETE AND DAISY I LOVE THEM.
I sure will miss my hugs from the mall. He made my day every time I ran into him. As I read the obituary last night and was crying like a baby, my daughter asked who had gone to heaven and she even remembers me hugging the man at that mall. She always told me he looked like a good grandpa. (Sweet girl) No one will ever fill his seat and I will miss him so much. Love you Mrs. Mary. Heaven has gained several amazing angels lately. Until we seen them again. Ashley (Brean) Ward
