My condolences and deep-felt sorrow go-out to the family members of Mrs. Ashley (or Nanny as she was known in our family). I especially remember her humerus side. The community has lost a special person. Mothers are special and one-of-a-kind, as God meant them to be. The community has lost a precious lady and mother. Our prayers and thoughts are with the Ashley family.

I was so sorry to hear about Mrs. Ashley's passing. I have many, many memories of when I was a child, growing up in Dyess, sitting on her porch and looking at her flowers. She was a sweet, precious lady.
