Our darling little angel, Emma Marie Tinney, was taken into God's hands on Friday, March 6, 2009 at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock. Full of life even at such a tender age, Emma was born on October 18, 2008 to the proud parents of Brian Keith and Lindsey Marie Tinney. During her short time with us, Emma graced us with her wonderful smile and loving heart.
She is survived by her brother, Austin Michael Tinney, and her grandparents, Kathy Lynette and Phillip Allen Williams; her grandiddy, Tony Eldon Amis and other grandmother, Sandie Mae Tinney. Emma leaves behind a very caring and devoted extended family as well.
The viewing will be at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home in Little Rock on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. where all those wanting to can attend or send flowers. Funeral services will be held at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Sparkman on Thursday, March 12, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Kevin Moss officiating.

Dee and I are so sorry to hear we will never get to see her. We were really hoping for you all to make the reunion this year, wherever and whenever we have it. This announcement was the first we heard about her passing. Will not be able to make services with such short notice. Our hearts ache for your whole family and our whole extended family.

To the family of precious Emma, know that she is with God and look to Him for comfort during this time. You were so blessed to have an angel like her for the time she was here on earth. My prayer is that you cling to the hope of knowing you will see her again someday in heaven. I used to work with Emma's grandmother Kathy and my heart just goes out to you all even though you do not know me. There are many of us that are praying for your strength and comfort. God bless you and your family will continue to be in my prayers.
Dear Tinney Family,
You do not know who I am but I saw your precious little angel's picture in the paper and knew I had to say something. I am at a loss for words for you right now. I have a 3 month old son myself and I can't imagine what you are going through with your loss. What a blessing she must have been during her short time here on Earth! My deepest sympathy and my heart goes out to you at this time. I know Emma will be looking over you and you will see each other again someday. Romans 8:28
I am truly sorry for your lost. There are no words that heal or help you with your pain. I will continue to pray for you and your family.
