To Barbara and Laurence,
My sincere sympathy at the loss of Dale. We were first cousins: My mother, Nannie Lou Ryan Love Macklin, was a younger sister to Dale's mother, my Aunt Sue. With sadness, the news of Dale's death has been shared with the many, many Ryan cousins all across the country who survive him. I have fond memories of Dale from our childhood.

Dear Barbara, Did you work in the Medical Records Department at St. Bernards? If so, I believe you might remember me and my wife Laura. Dr. Coker was so very kind to us when our youngest child, Tim, was born at St. Bernards.Laura and our other children , Bobby and Rick , and I moved to Jonesboro in 1968 where I joined Dr. Clopton in an Internal Medicine practice. Laura and I came to see Dale in PineBluff after he had moved there. After that we lost contact but never have forgotten how sweet your husband was and how kind he was to his patients. In the short time we worked at the same hospital we had many conversations about our childhood and found many areas of mutual interest.I am so sorry to learn that Dale has died. Sincerely, Dick and Laura Burns

Dale & I started kindergarten together in DeWitt and graduated together as seniors. I was the valedictorian to his salutatorian.

I never saw him again after we graduated. We all missed seeing him at our reunions.
He was such a fine person and I'm sorry he's gone.

My husband and I live in LIttle Rock and he's heard me speak of Dale many times. Our condolences go to you and your family.

Dear Barbara and Lawrence, I am sadden beyond grief at the loss of Dr. Coker. I learned so much from him during our short time at the Detox Center. His medical ability, his wit and his understanding of the addiction process has stayed with me all these years. May God bless you and your family. Delia Rollow
