Verna Odessa Williams Keltner, 79, of Little Rock passed away on Friday, August 2, 2019 in Bryant. She was born April 11, 1940 in Des Arc to Louie (Bill) Williams and Edith Dry Williams Kiltner.
Verna was a devoted employee at Timex, where she was employed for over 30 years, and also spent about the same amount of time with Kroger after her retirement from Timex. She was known as a very strong and independent woman with a huge, caring heart. Her favorite pastimes included gardening, woodworking, ceramic painting, sewing, reading, and if there were children around, she was usually right there in the midst, on their level. Her memory will be cherished and her legacy will continue on through those who loved and cared for her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Billy Mayfield, Louis Williams, and Bobby Joe Williams; her sisters, Sally Blasingame and Linda Hardin.
She is survived by one brother, Gaylon Williams and his wife, Doris, and many other extended family members, countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Graveside Service will be Monday, August 5, 2019 at Pinecrest Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home, 6700 Alcoa Road, Benton.
