RIP Uncle Billy. I didn’t know we were in print shop together. We connected in 2000 at the reunion with Margaret Wyatt. We were the 3 amigos for a while. Loved listening to your tall tales. You were adamant we had to watch the movie Cowboy Way so we could understand your lifestyle. Hope you had a happy life! You will always be in our hearts ❤️

Billy and I were friends through Little Rock Central High School. We met through the Print Shop and hung out through our Senior year. We continued through our first year at Arkansas State College/University at Jonesboro. We remained friend through it all but seemed to loose contact from time to time. Every few years we stumbled across paths for visit with family and friends. He called my mother Mama Byrd and enjoyed eating with us on occasions and mom made us set at her table and she took our picture, one I will continue to treasure. We will meet again and continue our friendship. Rest in Peace my friend till we meet again.

Sharon, I was so sorry to hear Billy had passed away. Some times it seems like it was only yesterday that we were all running up and down 29th street without a care in the world. My prayers are with you and your family.
