Edward Lowell Lair, 75, of Sonora, California passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2019. He was born on July 20, 1943 in Rochester, Minnesota to the late Ronald and Ethel Lair. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Todd and grandson, Joshua.
Edward was a member of Discover Life Adventist Church and volunteered for 25 years with Dorcas Ministries. He was self-employed, owning a construction company and worked most of his life hauling and clearing land.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Lair; sister, Linda Koenig; four sons, Randy Lair, Gene Dirks, Kamron Dirks and Sean Martin; three daughters, Lynda Fredericks, Roberta Albright and Teresa Dirks; and one grandchild, Christie.
A memorial service will be held on May 11, 2019 at Discover Life Adventist Church, 40 Forest Road, Sonora, California at 4:00 p.m.
Inurnment will be 10:00 a.m. Sunday, May 12, 2019 in Cherokee Memorial Park, Harney Lane at Hwy 99, in Lodi, California.
