Claris ''Fay'' Amey Rigsbee, age 77 of Hot Springs, passed away peacefully into the loving arms of her Savior on Friday, March 15, 2019. She was born on December 12, 1941 in Lincoln, California to Laymond and Iris Young Amey.
Fay was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her infectious smile and sweet personality attracted people very easily and she was a very well-liked individual. She was a faithful member of Centerview Missionary Baptist Church in Malvern for just over four years. In her early life she greatly enjoyed working in her yard, swimming, and taking drives with her husband, Bill, to take in all the wonderful sights of creation all over the country.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Tammy Lynn; one sister, Alice Fiorelli; and her brother, Jerry Amey.
Fay is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Charles William ''Bill'' Rigsbee; two daughters, Tina Louise and Tonya Lea; her brothers, Mike Amey, Dale Amey, and Stephen Amey; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren; along with many other extended family members and friends. Her memory will be forever cherished, and her legacy will continue on through her family and many others who loved her dearly.
A memorial service of remembrance will be Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Centerview Missionary Baptist Church, 3909 N Highway 171 Malvern, Arkansas 72104.
