Lucille E. Royal, age 91, of Pyatt, Arkansas passed away Thursday August 13, 2020 at her home.

Lucille was born December 13, 1928 in Pyatt, Arkansas to the late Chester and Cora E. (Potts) Patton. She grew up in Patton Hollow (Pyatt) and met and married Delbert Giles. They moved to Dallas for ten years. After marrying Russell Royal they moved back to Pyatt. She worked various jobs in her lifetime, including being a homemaker. Lucille loved her family and enjoyed the outdoors. She was a kind and gentle soul.

Mrs. Royal is survived by her son, Pete Giles of Pyatt, Arkansas; her sons-in law: Gary Sharp of Harmon, Arkansas; Kenneth Hancock of Pyatt, Arkansas; her brother C.L. Patton of Pyatt, Arkansas; four grandchildren: Kim (Bill) Sullivan, Misty Giles, Kelly (Jason ) Smith, and Ashley Giles, all of Pyatt, Arkansas; and four great-grandchildren: Dominic Giles, Jasey Smith, Keevyn Smith, and Dylan McLean.

She was preceded in death by her husband Russell Royal, her daughters: Sandy Sharp and Geneva Hancock, her daughter-in-law Stacy Giles, four brothers, and four sisters.

A memorial service will be 10:00 am Saturday August 15, 2020 at Pyatt City Park with Bro. Eldon Hellums officiating.

Memorials may be made to Davidson Cemetery Association.

Arrangements are by Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville.
