Bernice Marie Holder

of Flippin, AR

February 27, 1927 - March 23, 2020

Bernice Marie Holder, 93, of Flippin joined her Lord in heaven on March 23, 2020

She was born in Yellville, Arkansas on February 27, 1927 to Glen and Mae Parrott of Yellville. The family later moved to Flippin where Mrs. Holder graduated from Flippin High School. On August 20, 1949 she married James K. Holder and lived in Harrison, Arkansas until the couple moved to Flippin. Mrs. Holder was employed by the Flippin Public School as a teacher's aide in the younger grades where she very much enjoyed working with little children. She was a homemaker who enjoyed singing, cooking and gardening and raising her children and supporting them and her husband in everything he did. She loved her Lord and was a faithful member of the Flippin Church of Christ. Even in her later years when she struggled with illness she was an example of kindness and strength to all around her. She is survived by her two children: Bernetta Crow and husband, Danny, of Searcy, Arkansas and Alan Holder of Flippin, Arkansas; five grandchildren: Jeff Crow, Jennifer Teague, Jarred Crow, Jordan Crow and James Holder; nine great-grandchildren: Ashley, Leighton, Jantzen, Dawson, Callie, Josiah, Sawyer, Parker and Bella Rose.

Our profound thanks go to hospice and all of her caregivers who faithfully cared for her during her later years.

All service information will be provided by the family.

Roller-Burns Funeral Home, Yellville.

Her Legacy lives on in her wonderful Christian daughter and Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren. Proud to know the family! They are wonderful people. Got to sit near Danny and Bernetta many a Sunday night in Searcy, and now have the privilege of doing the same with Jarred and Jennifer. The Teague family is wonderful as well!

Your mom was a beautiful lady. I now see where you and Alan got your good looks.
