Samuel Nathan ''Sam'' Weindruch, age 78, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Wednesday November 13, 2019 in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Sam was born April 7, 1941 in Moline, Illinois to the late Sam and Dorothy Fern (Seaman) Weindruch. Sam married his wife, Marie, April 30, 1971. He had been employed as an assembler in automotive parts manufacturing. He was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Army; he liked painting, working jigsaw puzzles, and gospel music. He loved his family and his church family. He loved his county and flag and proudly served his country.
Mr. Weindruch is survived by his wife, Marie, of the home; his son Thomas Weindruch (Carol) of Cabot, Arkansas; three daughters: Shelia Seawright (David) of Yellville, Arkansas; Teresa Wickers (Wayne) of Oxford, Florida; Stacey Sailor (Mackey) of Mountain Home, Arkansas; his brother-in-law Riley Vroman (Judy) of Andalusia, Illinois; his sisters-in-law Julia Sharp (Harold) of Yellville, Arkansas; Mary Ann Vroman of Illinois City, Illinois; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister Kitty Rule.
A memorial service will be 10:00 am Monday, November 18, 2019 at First Presbyterian Church of Yellville with Blake Brinegar officiating.
Inurnment with military honors will follow at Layton Cemetery in Yellville.
