January 27, 1948 - August 27, 2019

Lizabeth Koppen-Early , 71, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away on 8/27/19 at her home.

Liz was born at home on 1/27/48 with the assistance of her grandmother. She was raised in Berkley, Michigan by her parents Arthur & Geraldine Koppen. They instilled in her from a young age the importance of family, and a love for fishing and the outdoors.
She attended Berkley High soon after attending the Detroit Institute of Fine Art, later going onto further her education at various colleges with a focus on; Business Management, Real Estate, Auto Repair, and Truck Driving. However, she was well known for her art which she sold successfully at local galleries. She was loved by all who knew her and many pondered and envied her for her ability to do anything she attempted and always instilled that in her daughters. Although she was very accomplished the thing she loved most was her family (Birds and Cats included.).

She was preceded in death by the love of her life Dennis Early who she met in 1988 and later married November 29th 2005 she was blessed to spend many fabulous years with. They spent their years together enjoying car shows, the V.F.W., hunting but most importantly together. Also preceding her in death her parents Arthur & Geraldine Koppen and brother Thomas Koppen.

She is survived by her daughters Lynn Gee & husband Gerardo Cerna; their son Sam; Laura Gerrard & husband Chris Slotte; their son Jon and step-son Eddie Early. Also surviving her are her siblings, Rick Koppen, Teresa Cavender, Leonard & Laurie (sister)Durecki, Steve & Nancy (Sister) Cuchetti.

I was blessed to have such an amazing mom. We spent many years on the road moving and now I find comfort knowing she is now in her permanent home in Heaven. So Mom, I'll go on loving you... Till we meet again.
