Shirley Ann Mays, age 79, of Yellville, Arkansas entered into rest Thursday May 9, 2019 surrounded by family at her home.

She was born November 15, 1939 in Vineland, New Jersey to the late George C. and Dorothy M. (Wolfe) Newman. She was a wife and mother and worked as a cashier. She enjoyed being with her family, and had been a member of the Elmer Grange #29 American Legion Auxiliary in New Jersey. Shirley was one of 7 brothers and 1 sister.

Mrs. Mays is survived by her sons: John P. Mays of Cocoa Beach, Florida;
Howard L. Mays of Flippin, Arkansas; daughters: Donna M. Mays Mutchler of Yellville, Arkansas; Susan E. Mays of Vineland, New Jersey; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lee Mays and son, Richard K. Mays.
