Clarice McNair, age 96 of Bruno, AR passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the Community Compassion Center in Yellville. A daughter of the late Arthur and Geneva "Neva" (Pyle) Sasser, Clarice was born September 10, 1922 in Marion County, Arkansas.

A lifelong resident of Marion County, Clarice was a member of the Bruno Baptist Church. She was a homemaker but did help out at the Bruno school and then at the Bruno-Pyatt school as a teachers aide and substitute teacher. She enjoyed quilting and working in her garden, but most of all she was a loving and caring mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her son, Robert McNair and his wife Marilyn of Bruno; two daughters, Barbara Ellen Heath and her husband Bob of Diamond City, AR and Teresa Jo Melton of Harrison; two brothers, Jimmy Joe Sasser and his wife Gaynel of Yellville and Mac Arthur Sasser of Eros; one sister, Neva Lane Milligan and her husband Jimmy "Red" of Yellville. She is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great great-grandson and two great great great-grandchildren.

Other than her parents, Clarice is preceded in death by her husband, A.W. McNair, two brothers, Jake and Arlis (Whitey) Sasser and three sisters, Rua Baker, Billie Maria Hill and Velva Rice.

Funeral Service will be 11 A.M. Saturday, November 24 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Bro. Bruce Trogdon. Visitation will be from 9 AM to service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Bruno cemetery, pallbearers are Rick Williams, Matthew McNair, Mike Heath, Ronnie Risley, Heith Rogers and Alan Nix.
