Robert Keith Honeycutt, age 89, of Harrison, passed away Monday, March 2, 2020. The son of Otis and Madge (Peerson) Honeycutt, he was born September 12, 1930, at Snowball, Arkansas. Keith was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Clifford Honeycutt and Willard Honeycutt; and his sister, Lorea O'More.

Keith was a member of Eagle Heights Baptist Church of Harrison. He served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict. Keith was well respected and highly sought after for operating cableways and cranes throughout the entire United States and other countries. It was said by a colleague that, ''he was genius at what he did and was the best there was''. Keith worked on Table Rock Dam in Missouri, Greers Ferry Dam in Arkansas, Yellowtail Dam in Montana, Mossy Rock Dam in Washington, Roosevelt Dam in Arizona, and several power plants, bridges, and radio towers throughout the country. Keith was a 32nd Degree Master Mason, Scottish Rite, and Shriner. He participated in many parades and rodeos with a Mounted Horse Patrol.

Keith is survived by his wife, Mary Katheryne Honeycutt, of the home; his sons and daughters-in-law, Kent and Tracy Honeycutt and Kyle and Cindy Honeycutt, all of Harrison; his sisters, Anna Lee Fowler of Wichita, Kansas, Rita Waters and husband Wallace of Harrison, Linda Davis of Harrison, and Alta Eddings and husband Ben of Harrison; his brother, Joe Honeycutt, of Harrison; and his sister-in-law, Jolean Honeycutt of Harrison.

Keith is also survived by his grandchildren, Tyler Zurga and wife Janelle of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Trevor Honeycutt of Fayetteville, Grant Honeycutt of Bentonville, Arkansas, and Megan Honeycutt of Harrison; his great-grandchildren, Pearl and Finley Zurga of Fayetteville; and a special Dachsund, Katie. Keith will be missed by a host of family and friends.



Visitation was Wednesday, March 4, 2020, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Services were Thursday, March 5, 2020, at 10:00 AM, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, with Brother Glenn Crenshaw officiating. Interment will be at Maplewood Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Tyler Zurga, Trevor Honeycutt, Grant Honeycutt, Jay Honeycutt, Kevin Waters, and Kirk Waters.

Honorary pallbearers were Megan Honeycutt and Kim Waters Covan.
