Guy Gregory Garner
Guy Garner passed away Tuesday, December 17th in Branson, Missouri.
Guy was born June 8, 1946, in Torrance, California and moved to Arkansas three years ago to be with his mother, Bebe Arnold, on her farm in Omaha.
Guy was preceded in death by his father, Charles Garner, who was career Navy and by a younger brother, Gale Garner.
In his teenage years, Guy worked for his grandfather, Cliff Garner, who owned a commercial fishing boat in Southern California. During breaks from college in New Mexico, Guy worked on an expansive cattle ranch in Texas. After college, he was employed as a graphic illustrator for a local publication and rose to manage the production of the paper. His management skills evolved into becoming the Vice President of Marketing for a major California savings and loan company.
Besides his mother, Guy leaves five children and six grandchildren.
Guy will be laid to rest in the family plot in California. He was of the Mormon faith.
