Peggy Jo Howard, age 88, of Harrison, passed away May 19, 2019, at Harrison Rehabilitation and Health Center. Peggy was born May 15, 1931, to Jesse and Leona (Wilson) Howard in Piedmont, Missouri. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Toney Howard; her son, Dwight Howard; and her brothers, Jesse Mabury, Bill Mabury and Bob Mabury.
Peggy worked as an accountant before retiring for the U.S. Government. She loved gardening and roses. Peggy was a member of Batavia Baptist Church.
Peggy is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Toney and LouAnn Howard of St. Petersburg, Florida and Dwayne Howard of Harrison, Arkansas; her daughters and sons-in-law, Kathie and Paul Hendrick of Harrison, Arkansas, Lockie and George Courtney of Mountain Grove, Missouri; her sister, Margaret Brooks of Piedmont, Missouri; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date in Piedmont, Missouri.
