Jerrel Dean Roberts, age 77, of Omaha, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019, at Harrison Rehab and Health Center in Harrison. He was born March 14, 1942, at Harrison, the son of Tillman and Inice (Widner) Roberts. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Gene Roberts and Gary Roberts; and one sister, Verdina Anderson.

Jerrel was a resident of Boone County, Arkansas and was a farmer. He attended Miracle Lighthouse Church.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Connie (Womack) Roberts, whom he married October 6, 1963 at Wichita, Kansas; two brothers, Loyie Roberts and Leroy Roberts, both of Omaha, Arkansas; and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.


Visitation was Thursday, April 25, 2019, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Funeral service was 2:00PM, Friday, April 26, 2019, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home with Arvin Adams officiating.

Burial was in the Gass Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ron Womack, Carroll Anderson, Rodney Anderson, Stuart Roberts, Steve Roberts, and Gannon Roberts.

Honorary pallbearers were David Smith, Rick Thomason, Troy White, Lynden Judy, Mark Widner, James Widner, Terry Widner, Robert Burdine, Dr. Charles Klepper, Donald Whittaker, Randall Fultz, Tom Riddle and Rick Widner.

Sorry to hear of Jerrel's death, we were classmates, class of 1959. I have lost touch with many but remember Jerrel as being a shy well liked classmate. My condolences are with your family.
