Lucille Woods, age 80, of Harrison, passed away Friday, April 19, 2019, at her home. She was born November 8, 1938 at Self, Arkansas, the daughter of Mitchell and Eunice (Riddlesperger) Foster. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Brenda Woods Collins; and her sister, Lorene Roberts.

Lucille was a member of Ozark Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and worked with her husband on the farm.

Lucille is survived by her husband, Billy Joe Woods, of the home; her son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Darlene Woods; her grandchildren and their spouses, Mitchell and Melody Woods, Kevin Collins, Aleisha and Justin Willis, and Spencer and Baylea Woods; eight great-grandchildren; her sister, Louise Thomason; and many nieces and nephews.



Funeral service was 10:00AM, Monday, April 22, 2019 at Ozark Baptist Church with Bro. Jamey James officiating.

Burial was in Maplewood Cemetery.

Visitation was 4-6 PM, Sunday, April 21, 2019 at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Mitchell Woods, Kevin Collins, Spencer Woods, Justin Willis, Mitchell Gahlbeck and Justin Treat.

Honorary pallbearers were the Ozark Baptist Church Family.


In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Hills, 501 E. Sherman Ave, Harrison, Arkansas 72601.

Billy Jo and Bobby, Sorry for your loss. My parents Raymond and Grace Cantrell thought very well of you and your family. Mother particularly cared for Brenda as her neighbor. Praying for your comfort and care.
