Lillian Francis (Johnson) Rushing, age 94, of Bergman, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at Hillcrest Home in Harrison. She was born January 17, 1924, in Alpena, Arkansas, the daughter of Bert and Dee Johnson, and was the youngest of seven children.
Lillian graduated from Alpena High School. She retired from Levi Strauss in 1986. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and working on her farm. Lillian was well loved by those who knew her.
Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Darrell Rushing, on June 18, 2006; all of her siblings; her son, Wayne Rushing; her granddaughter-in-law, Thuy Rushing; and her twin granddaughters, Sherry and Terry Rushing.
Lillian is survived by her son, Richard Rushing and Carolene, of Bergman; her daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Steve Blevins, of Bergman; her grandchildren, Bryan Blevins, Erin Rushing, Mickey Green, Jennifer Hefner, Shelley Johnson, Sherrill Baker, Julie Pedrami and Rachel Rushing; fifteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family.
Open visitation was Friday, December 21, 2018, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
Graveside service was 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 22, 2018, at York Cemetery, with Erin Rushing officiating.
Family served as pallbearers.
