I wish all of Wayne and Patsy's family strength in the loss of an amazing man I knew Wayne in the good old days of the 1960s.. I met him through Jiim Bennett who become a friend of mine at North Iowa Area Community College. Jim introduced me, a Mason City guy, to all of his friends in Clear Lake and we had great times together. I especially remember that Wayne loved listening to the Grand Ole Opry on the Radio. I use to sing "On the Wings of a Dove" with him. He and Patsy were a great couple and I know that they had a blessed life together. I want to thank Ron Hunt for bringing Wayne to visit me recently. His visit brought back so many memories from our get togethers in Clear Lake in days of our youth. Wayne could always make us laugh and smile when he he told tales. I was blessed from knowing him as I a certain his friends and relatives were as well.

My heartfelt condolences go out to Kevin and everyone in his family. The loss of a parent is keenly felt and something from which one never truly recovers. To say goodbye to the people who gave you life, who taught you how to be a good person when you were growing up and became your best friends when you were grown, is a journey that all must take but none ever wish to begin.

With much love,
Cynthia Tennison
