Nettie Kathaleen Sorensen, age 80, of Harrison, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at her home. She was born January 14, 1938, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida, the daughter of Samuel May and Gulle Mae (Borham) Nowling. Kathaleen was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, H. Madaleen Kreterfield; and her brother, Sam Nowling. She loved to read and talk to her sister via SKYPE.
Kathaleen is survived by her loving husband, John Sorensen, of the home; her sons, Richard Olcott and Samuel Olcott; her daughters, Deborah Anderson and Darlene Piwowarczyk; sixteen grandchildren; twenty three great-grandchildren; and many dear friends.
Visitation was 3:00 to 5:00 PM, Friday, October 26, 2018, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
Interment was in Ridgewood Memorial Park, Des Plains, Illinois, Monday, October 29, 2018.

I knew Kathleen as my daughter-in-laws mother. Kathleen was always a nice person to everyone. She always put other peoples problems before her own and helped in anyway she could.
She is now resting in peace and waiting for judgement day to be reunited with all the people she loved and cared for.
My sympathies go out especially to Darlene, I know she loved her mom very much and will miss her
