Deborah Ann Blackmon, age 65, of Harrison, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018, in Harrison. She was born October 6, 1953, in Harrison, the daughter of Arlin Archie ''Buck'' and Jana Lou (Hampton) Rains. Deborah was preceded in death by her father, Buck Rains; and her mother and bonus-father, Jana and Robert Tollerson.
Deborah was of the Baptist faith. She was an LPN and had worked at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center, several doctors' offices and nursing homes. She was an avid bowler and was in numerous bowling leagues. She enjoyed reading and crosstitching. Deborah fiercely loved her family.
Deborah is survived by her loving husband, Harold Floyd Blackmon; her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Aimee Widner; her daughters and sons-in-law, Darrica and Jody Haney and Shana and Junior Williams; her bonus-son and his wife, Floyd and Meg Blackmon; her bonus-daughter and her husband, Debra and Bill Wykoff; sixteen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Deborah is also survived by her sisters and brother-in-law, Melba and Ross Melancon and Marsha Douglas; her sister/niece, Ashley Munts; her brother, George Rains; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation was 11:00 to 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 27, 2018, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
Graveside service was 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 27, 2018, at Alpena Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Austin Pearsall, Frank Miller, Colton Haney, Floyd Blackmon, Junior Williams and Jody Haney.
Honorary pallbearers were David Cardoza and Tish Whitney.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Deborah's name at any Bank OZK location.
My condolences at the loss of you Debbie. She and Harold have been friends of mine for many years, and I remember her always being pleasant and efficient in her work.
