Joyce and I are so sad to hear of Marilyn's passing. She was one of the sweetest persons we have met, We remember when she opened the History Museum and took us on a tour on a Sunday when it was closed. That was the firs time we met her. She was truly a kind and thoughtful person. Her accomplishments and the positions she held as a resident of Harrison are truly remarkable. What a dedicated person she was. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Jim.
So very saddened to learn of Marilyn's passing, after such a courageous fight to overcome her illness. Such a sweet lady!. I will always remember when Jim and Marilyn came to visit me in CA. That meant a great deal to me My heartfelt prayers are with Jim and all of their family.
Jim,
With deepest sympathy for your loss. Marilyn was a very sweet person and we are glad that we had the pleasure of meeting her during our reunion in Virginia, Oct. 2004. We hope you can find solace in thinking of all the good happenings you both had together.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Marilyn was always there at the library when my son would pile up all his books he wanted to check for the week. She was always so kind to him. He was so small and had such a big pile of little books. She would see him coming and smile so big. She was a wonderful sweet spirited woman. We will miss her.
Love you, and will remember you always. Jack and Kathi Brisco
Jim:
Our deepest sympathy to you and family in the loss
of Marilyn. She was a breath of fresh air along with
many other talents. Her work for the community
is truly impressive.
Have known Marilyn many years. She was a kind and caring person with many talents. She must have started her first job after graduation at Guynn's Garden and Flower Shop as in '59 when we married she helped with the flowers and setting for our wedding. I lost track of her and we met again when she was working at the museum. We really enjoyed her at our Davidson reunion and she will be truly missed. Jim, our sympathy is with you and the family. You were blessed to have had her even if for a short time. God has blessed us with good memories that we can always treasure.
Marilyn was a beautiful, special lady inside and out. She will be missed by all in more ways than one. She was a wonderful mother , wife and grandmother. My prayers and love go out to all her family and friends who will now have such a void in their lives. I especially want to send my love and condolences to Susan and Paige who have always been so very special to me. I hold your heart in my heart.

To Marilyn's Family,
She will be missed so much. What a wonderful woman /distant cousin who was filled with so much family history and knowledge. I use to enjoy my trips to Harrison to visit with Marilyn about the Adams Family history. I can see that beautiful smile and hear that funny laugh as she would tell some great stories.
