Mr. Earl Eugene Raby, 72, of Weiner, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018, at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. He was born August 30, 1945, in Weiner to Leo & Edna (Brown) Raby.

Earl was a graduate of Weiner High School and proudly served the US Army in Vietnam as a sniper. He was a 32nd degree Master Mason at Cardinal Lodge #677 at Weiner. He was a member of Weiner Christian Church. He had retired from farming and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by one daughter, Penney (John) Johnson of Jonesboro; three sons, Tony Raby of Little Rock, Ronnie (Joyce) Stratmoen of Paragould, and Barry (Charlene) Raby of Hoxie; four brothers, James Raby, Earnest Raby, Larry Raby, and Gerald Raby; two sisters, Betty Elder and Doris White; grandchildren, Anthony Raby, Zachery Turley, Clayton Raby, Brody Raby, Savannah Stratmoen, and Dalton Johnson; and three great-grandchildren.

There will be a visitation Tuesday, April 24, 10:30-11:30am at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home at Weiner. Funeral service with military honors will follow at 1:00pm at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, Highway 163 at Birdeye in Cross County.

Serving as pallbearers will be Zachery Turley, Dalton Johnson, Brody Raby, Cory Johnson, John Johnson, and Steve ''Boo'' Clark.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Wofford, Darrell Hicks, Kenneth Farmer, Wayne Hendrix, Dennis Reid, Tom Wimpy, and the crew at Penny's Place.
